In-class Activity: Find three clips that coincides with an aspect of your family history or that of a public figure who is a person of African descent (educational institution, city of birth, professional or social organization, surname, etc.). In groups of three, discuss with your peers how your findings reflect larger historical trends and any roadblocks or frustrations you experienced while searching.
